Nursery has CCTV system installed, lets parents monitor toddlers from their smartphones

A nursery from Holland-on-Sea in Essex has decided to have a CCTV system installed in order to allow parents to keep an eye out on their toddlers remotely, a news report in the local media has recently revealed.

The nursery decided to take this approach in order to give parents additional “peace of mind”, and the owners say that response from parents has been “fantastic”.

Given the rather sensitive nature of the system’s location, the CCTV system also offers a range of important security features, such as only allowing parents to view the video feed while their kids are at the nursery, as well as an automatic logging-off feature with a pre-set time limit.
