A scrap metal dealer has urged the government to rethink its proposed ban on cash payments. The change in the law was announced to fight metal thefts. The Hull man, Steven Robertson said the change would do little to reduce thefts. He commented: “There are people out there who will pay cash for metals, and they will continue to do so.” He added: “Even though the law is against them, they’ll still do it.”
Protecting an outdoor facility such as a scrap metal depot from theft is the speciality of a CCTV Surveillance Ltd Digital Camera system. Our CCTV networks are able to work with a standard PC monitor, which has been achieved through the sophisticated CCTV software. The software allows ‘live’ footage to be viewed remotely from any or all connected CCTV cameras as events happen and without degradation of video quality, allowing you to monitor your premises when offsite. Its site tree facility allows servers and individual cameras to be accessed quickly.
